Compact, glossy and wonderfully easy-going 🌿

The Zamioculcas zamiifolia ‘Zenzi’ is the compact cousin of the classic ZZ Plant. It has the same wonderfully hardy nature, but grows with shorter stems and tightly packed, curled glossy green leaves, giving it a chunky little architectural look.

Its smaller growth habit makes Zenzi brilliant for shelves, desks, side tables and smaller spaces where a full-sized ZZ might eventually become a bit too enthusiastic.

Watering

Very adaptable. Best in bright, indirect light but tolerant of lower-light positions. Avoid prolonged harsh direct sunlight.

Humidity & Temperature

Average household humidity is perfectly suitable. No special humidity requirements.

Feeding

Feed lightly with a balanced houseplant fertiliser approximately once a month during spring and summer. Reduce or stop feeding during autumn and winter.

Repotting & Growth

A naturally compact, slow-growing ZZ variety. Repot only when noticeably root-bound, usually every 2–3 years. Use a pot with good drainage and only move up one pot size at a time.

Not pet safe. Keep away from pets and children who may chew the leaves. Can cause irritation if ingested.
