Couldn't load pickup availability
Full, leafy and ready to wander, Hedera helix ‘Wonder’ is a classic English Ivy with masses of beautifully lobed green foliage carried along flexible trailing stems.
Its naturally cascading growth makes it perfect for shelves, hanging planters and anywhere that could use a little waterfall of greenery. Alternatively, give those stems some support and ‘Wonder’ will happily take the climbing route instead.
Fast-growing in the right conditions and easy to trim into shape, this is a brilliant choice for creating plenty of leafy impact without taking up precious floor space.

OUR THOUGHTS
‘Wonder’ is classic Ivy done beautifully. Small, rich-green leaves pack themselves along wandering stems that can trail, climb or be trimmed into whatever shape works for your space. It's particularly good when you want to turn an empty shelf into a curtain of green without sacrificing any floor space.
GROW WITH CONFIDENCE
Looking After Your Plant
Watering
Water when the upper layer of the growing medium begins to dry, then water thoroughly and allow excess moisture to drain away. Aim for lightly moist soil without keeping the roots permanently wet, and avoid repeatedly allowing the plant to become completely dry.
Light
Give ‘Wonder’ plenty of bright, indirect light for healthy, compact growth. It can tolerate softer light, although growth may become slower or more stretched. Avoid prolonged harsh sunlight through glass, particularly during the hottest part of the day.
Humidity & Temperature
‘Wonder’ appreciates moderate humidity and generally prefers cooler conditions than many tropical houseplants. Keep it away from hot radiators and excessively warm, dry positions. Good airflow around the foliage is particularly useful.
Feeding
Feed with a balanced houseplant fertiliser around once a month during active growth in spring and summer, following the manufacturer's instructions. Reduce feeding during autumn and winter when growth naturally slows.
Repotting & Growth
‘Wonder’ is a fast-growing trailing and climbing plant with flexible stems that can be allowed to cascade or trained around a support. Repot when noticeably root-bound into a slightly larger pot using a light, well-draining houseplant mix. Longer stems can be trimmed to control its size and encourage fuller, bushier growth.
Pet Safety
Hedera helix ‘Wonder’ is not considered pet safe and can cause problems if eaten. Keep it out of reach of cats, dogs and other pets that may chew the foliage. If you suspect your pet has eaten part of the plant, contact your vet for advice.
A NOTE FROM US
'Wonder' isn't particularly demanding, but it does have one request: please don't cook it next to a radiator. Give it good indirect light, slightly cooler conditions and lightly moist soil. It's also worth checking underneath the foliage regularly, as Ivy can be particularly attractive to spider mites when conditions get hot and dry.
