Bright, elegant and beautifully fresh, Caladium ‘White Wonder’ produces heart-shaped foliage filled with creamy white and soft green tones, framed and patterned with deeper green.

Its luminous leaves bring plenty of impact without relying on bold pinks or reds, making ‘White Wonder’ a gorgeous choice for anyone who loves softer foliage. Each new leaf brings its own variation in pattern, gradually creating a wonderfully layered tropical display.

Caladiums naturally have a dormant period, so don't be alarmed if the foliage begins to die back as the growing season ends. The tuber rests beneath the soil before returning to growth when conditions are right.

OUR THOUGHTS

Not every colourful plant needs to be loud. ‘White Wonder’ does something completely different with its creamy-white and green foliage, creating a bright, almost luminous display. We love how much impact those pale leaves bring while still feeling wonderfully soft and fresh.

GROW WITH CONFIDENCE

Looking After Your Plant

Watering

During active growth, keep the growing medium lightly and consistently moist without allowing it to become waterlogged. Water when the upper layer begins to dry and allow excess water to drain freely. As the plant enters dormancy and its foliage begins to die back, gradually reduce watering and keep the resting tuber much drier.

Light

Give ‘White Wonder’ plenty of bright, indirect light to encourage healthy growth and maintain the beautiful contrast in its pale foliage. Avoid prolonged harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch its thin leaves.

Humidity & Temperature

‘White Wonder’ appreciates warm conditions and medium to high humidity. Keep it away from cold draughts, radiators and sudden temperature changes. Additional humidity can help support its delicate foliage, although good airflow remains important.

Feeding

Feed lightly with a balanced houseplant fertiliser around once a month while ‘White Wonder’ is actively growing, following the manufacturer's instructions. Stop feeding when growth slows or the plant begins entering dormancy, then resume once fresh growth appears.

Repotting & Growth

Caladium ‘White Wonder’ grows from an underground tuber and produces its beautiful foliage during its active growing season. Repot when needed into a light, airy and well-draining mix, using a pot with good drainage. Caladiums naturally enter dormancy, when their foliage may yellow and die back. During this resting period, reduce watering significantly and allow the tuber to rest until fresh growth begins.

Pet Safety

Caladium ‘White Wonder’ is not considered pet safe and should be kept out of reach of cats, dogs and other pets that may chew the foliage. If you suspect your pet has eaten part of the plant, contact your vet for advice.

A NOTE FROM US

White Wonder likes warmth, humidity and plenty of bright indirect light while it's actively growing. Keep the soil lightly moist rather than soggy, and remember that Caladiums aren't necessarily gone when their leaves disappear. If yours heads into dormancy, reduce the watering and let that tuber rest until it's ready for round two.
