The Monstera dubia is one of the most unusual and sought-after Monsteras, admired for its distinctive growth style and stunning silver-green patterned leaves. Unlike traditional Monsteras that grow with their leaves spreading outward, the Dubia naturally grows flat against surfaces, with its leaves "shingling" tightly along trees in its rainforest habitat.

Its juvenile leaves display beautiful silver markings over deep green foliage, creating a stunning mosaic effect as the plant climbs. When given a moss pole, coir pole, or suitable climbing support, the Dubia will attach itself naturally and reward you with larger, more mature leaves as it grows.

🌿 Fun Fact- The Monstera dubia has one of the most unusual growth patterns in the plant world. In the wild, its juvenile leaves grow flat against tree trunks like living tiles, a behaviour known as shingling. Once the plant reaches the top of its support and receives more light, it can transform dramatically, producing larger leaves that hang away from the surface like a traditional Monstera.
